Not sure what category this falls in, if any, but... I saw this when I was walking to the art department today, kind of thought it was too awesome not to post. Disabled parking. Incidental puns in everyday life. Ways of seeing.
This post reminds me of this sign i've seen around often, "Slow Children". Every time I see it I chuckle and it makes me wonder who approved this sign especially in a politically correct society. I know I'm not the only one who would misread that or think twice about what the sign means. I was unable to find it but a few years ago my sister had her friends pose in stupor next to the sign for a photo (amazing). If I find it I'll post the pic, in the meantime I have recalled many other punny signs around and it probably would be interesting to have a collection of these.

Strangely enough, I think this could fall back into the discussion of "What is art?" Is this just another image, or is it an idea in which the driver intended to portray? If it is the latter, isn't that what art is often defined as - an artist creating a piece, in this case a scene, with an audience to receive a message or idea from it. As an audience without the creator of the scene, we may never know.
The same could be said about the humorous sign "Slow Children." What if the creator had actually intended that and was fortunate enough to get away with it? It's a creation, specifically an image in this case, which portrays not just the idea to slow down because of children, but that possible second idea of slower, "unintelligent" children.
