Being an art student means exposing your clothes to many materials. Some marks stain forever and others just leave a temporary smudge. Several students are bold and daring enough to venture into studio without protective clothing, while others desire to remain a little more clean. So...to wear the apron or to not wear the apron, that is the question. Should one choose the apron, there's a helpful, easy, and quick way to make one, especially if it's REQUIRED and you're too broke or lazy to purchase one.
