He considers himself a completely "self-taught" photographer which I think adds into his interesting approach to the medium. Either through the use of sequencing photographs, or writing text onto images, he adds a story that could not be achieved through just the image alone.
Often times political, but never openly critical of any political movements, his work balances between comical and emotionally wrenching. I feel it combines both a deep longing with an almost satirical commentary on the human condition.
"This photograph is my proof.
There was that afternoon, when things were still good between us, and she embraced me, and we were so happy.
It did happen, she did love me. Look see for yourself!"
